Gentle Sheep® Premium Follow-On Formula is specially formulated to meet the increasing nutritional requirements of babies from 6 to 12 months and intended to complement the introduction of solids. This nutritionally balanced formulation provides key nutrients tailored to the needs of growing infants 6 months or older.

Gentle Sheep® Follow-On Formula is based on premium New Zealand sheep milk.

Important notice: Breast milk is best for babies and breastfeeding should continue for as long as possible. Before you decide to use this product, consult your doctor or health worker for advice. This follow-on formula should not be used for infants who are under the age of 6 months. It is recommended that infants from the age of 6 months should be offered foods in addition to the follow-on formula.

Sheep Milk Solids (62%) (Whole Milk Powder, Demineralised Whey Powder), Lactose, Vegetable Oils, Galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS), Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), Minerals (Calcium, Potassium, Chloride, Sodium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Iron, Zinc, Copper, Manganese, Iodine, Selenium), Arachidonic Acid (ARA) Oil Powder (from Mortierella alpina), Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) Oil Powder (from Schizochytrium sp.), Vitamins (Vitamins (C, E, B₃, B₅, B₁, A, B₆, B₂, K₁, D, B₁₂), Folic Acid, Biotin), Acidity Regulator (Calcium Hydroxide), Inositol, Choline Chloride, Taurine.

Safe preparation instructions

Wash your hands with soap and water and dry with a clean or disposable cloth. Prepare each bottle individually.

1. Thoroughly wash feeding bottle, teat, cap and all utensils. Boil them for 5 minutes or sterilise in a steriliser.

2. Taking care to avoid scalds, pour the required amount of potable, previously boiled water into a cleaned and sterilised feeding bottle. The water should be no cooler than 40°C.

3. Add the required number of levelled off scoops as per the Feeding Guide.

4. Close the bottle and shake well.

5. Test the temperature on the inside of your wrist before feeding. It should feel lukewarm (not hot).

6. Dispose of the remaining prepared milk left in the bottle after a feed.

This feeding guide is a general guide only; your baby may need more or less than shown. Use only the enclosed scoop. Add one level scoop (average 7.51g) for every 50mL of potable, previously boiled water. If a bottle of made up formula is to be stored prior to use, keep refrigerated at 2 – 4°C and use within 12 hours.
